Great route, the first pitch was the funnest of the climbing and there is enough metal that if you're confident climbing 5.7 you can lead it with almost no trad placements (i placed one cam on the first pitch). Coming around the corner on the second pitch was AMAZING, beautiful exposure. All in all go with a minimal rack, i place 2 pieces of gear on the second pitch and one piece on the first pitch, all small stuff except for the #2 cam on the second pitch just before the runout face.

not very cushiony
Pretty fun climb with some good moves, I'd give the safety rating a pg-13 because falling before clipping the last bolt lands you on a big ledge (not very cushiony). I unwisely let my buddy try to lead this (his first day leading) and he couldn't finish it and left it up to me (i was tired from climbing all day and too pumped to pull the last move) long story short i kept falling and hitting the ledge, finally gave up with a badly twisted ankle and some torn pants. came back today and blasted up it, not too bad when you're not tired.

good rock
Good easy warm up route and great for beginners. My wife toproped it after i lead and she enjoyed it.

good start
The best part of this route comes before the first 3 or 4 bolts, after that it just kind of goes to crap. you might want to stick clip the first bolt as it's kind of high and the start is "technical"

not worth the approach for this route, short and protection is okay, you only need like 3 pieces to protect this route. crux deserves greater than the 5.6 rating.

my first trad second after my dad lead it back in the day. i love this route and if you can beat the crowd it's well worth it.
