Blow me down!
This was a really fun route, though it was super super windy, which made rappelling a bastard. I got to lead the 1st and 3rd pitch. I think pitch 1 is harder than pitch 2. Definitely go past the first anchors to the next ones about 30 feet above. If it is windy, be prepared for rope trouble on the rappel.

good times
Left late and still had to wait in line. Lots of people on a Tuesday. Rapped off and got to the base right at sunset. Stashed our packs for fine Jade the next day.

A little scary
Great route, but the ear pitch is really committing, runout, and difficult 5.11 offwidth. Hiked in 7 miles cause we didn't have a 4 wheel drive. Epic trip!

second time
"The 5.9 Bozeman benchmark..." No wonder everything around Bozeman is sandbagged. Good route though.

Great climb
This is a stellar climb. I agree with need rock below though. It seems most climbs in montana can be upgraded about 3 letter grades, which would put this at around 11b. Anyone who's climbed anywhere else will agree with me.

great long route
A good roof crux midway, and another great crux just before the chains.

Montana 5.10
A pretty good route on really good rock. The most solid rock at scorched earth. But what the hell is with Montanans sandbagging everything? There are a few moves that are definitely harder than 10a. C'mon guys...

Long approach, but worth it
Linked the first and 2nd pitches. The 3rd pitch is the hardest, but the 4th is the best. Possible(and probably preferable) to link the 4th and 5th pitches. A great climb!

Very fun
The bottom is probably the hardest part. Fingers into a sweet hand crack-into an awkward pod, but overall worth the effort.
