Fun climb; straight forward, small gear and nuts (first lead after 8 month rehab).

Ascent Note
I've been waiting to do this one for a long time. It was great, straight forward, crux at the bottom.

Ascent Note
Short route, crack is real thin, ripped the skin of my nails trying to shove my fingers in. Good practice for thin cracks.

The crux on this was difficult to pull especially on lead. Pro is good on this route including the anchor. Walk off descent.

Probably should go back and do this one again. I thought the pro was difficult to place where I wanted it. The inside shape of the crack in some spots was so irregular; it was hard to get good placements. The wind blowing at 20mph didn’t help. I think you need to make at least a few committing move through the crux without pro. I remember having only a micro-cam below me as my last piece.

Solid pro, good anchor placements, nothing too complicated. Rap bolts to the right seemed loose to me.

Led first, third, and sixth pitch. One section of the first pitch seems harder than 5.7. A guide told me a hold broke off and it is 5.8+; I don't know. The whole climb is a lot of fun, but there are a lot of guides who go there. There were climbing parties all over the place.

I followed on this before. I knew where I would likely fall and was able to protect it. Nice short route for good practice.

Ascent Note
This was a straight forward climb; there were no real surprises. Led first pitch. The second pitch seemed more difficult following the corner at the top of the route. Pro was solid. Somehow we walked right past the bottom of the climb on the descent, can't figure out how. Very loose at the top.

Ascent Note
This was not as great as I expected. The long crack on the second pitch is a little wider and not as fun as I anticipated.
