robh's Logbook (5 ascents)

It was my very first lead and now its my common route to just cruz at the end of a hard day if were trying to get inverical feet. If you want to make it more inreresting just bring nuts and a #4 camalot for the bit horizontal up top. CAN BE DONE IN ONE PITCH W/ A 60M

awesome route def has to be done in 2 pitches. WE TOOK A SAW AND CLEANED THE CORNER GUYS!!!!!!!! so now there is no excuse for not climbing it becasue its overgrown. Undercling the main roof with high feet and good gear. Run up the slab aabove the first roof to the second and heel hook it;top out.... FUN FUN FUN

fun route all the way to the top. I did not lead this route, it was my partners lead but i seconded and i think the crux is def, once you get up to the main roof you have to traverse right until your about in the middle and then just get real high feel and feel arounf the lip until you hit some OK holds. not super positive but ok. and then just commit and pull the lip. once you pull the lip you have a flake that looks not so good and sloping feet! soooo fun and exilerating.

this route is definently a full 60m rope lenght. If you r not good at steming then this route will teach it to you. I felt like it was slightly overhung once you got into it and pretty exposed! It was my first 5.7 onsight.

I waited abot 3 weeks to climb this route because of weather. We had so much rain that there was actually water running through the weekness in the over hangs. I pealed out at teh crux a few weeks earlier and came back for the red point. The slab climbing is fun, but the real fun starts as soon as you pull the first hang. I feel that the crux stars when you commit to making the 8 foot traverse. All the hangs are very well protected however I did not place too much gear because i didnt have the strenght to stop and place gear i just went for it.
