Wild grapes everywhere made it a challenge to get to the base of the climb. I hope there is enough water this season to mae the grapes sweet.

tricky start
bolts seem to get further apart after the tricky start. jug heaven doesn't compensate for big whip protection.

It doesn't get much easier to set up a top rope. This place is just plain fun. Come early to avoid the crowd, but the crowd definately adds to the excitement. Have fun!

Great first route
My first route in California. My buddy and I travelled to visit family, and made for the hills once our shindig was through. This was my friend's first climb outside, so it came with all the usual excitements. Rough finish, but good fun.

A couple of attempts, both times through the crux no problem. off route to the left on the first try. straight up through the crack is the ticket.
The crux is not nearly as difficult as it looks. You have to set up for it about three moves before though. Cross your hands... trust your right foot, let it rip!
