This rock is very polished making it an "interesting" start. Just be careful not to get yourself stuck in the chimney.

Fun Warm up/cool down
The first part of the climb is more of a hike or large steps. There is one move past a small overhang that makes this climb more challenging.

You will sweat.
If you start on "Radagast" it makes this route longer. The slight overhang is deceptive and the rock is fairly smooth.
Use a spotter if you're starting on the ledge or leading it. A tumble off that ledge would carry you much further down the hill than would be fun. But the ledge is large.

Just a fun day out.
Went for the more challenging route. I think it was about 5.9
Then continued on to "Stink Finger", makes the short routes of Middle Earth a bit more enjoyable.

Ascent Note
Lots of fun. Until the finish it feels like a 5.8 but there are two tricky moves near the top throw a little difficulty back in. Great route to warm up on if you climb harder than 5.9.
