Ascent Note
This is the classic route of the black mountains. Highly recommended to all levels. Ideal months are Sep. through May. The black rock in the summer months is blistering. Great winter climbing. The view is spectacular.

Ascent Note
Very difficult overhanging crux sequence. The only method that has worked for me (or anyone to my knowledge) is a right leg hook (stretch those legs good first) over the lip of the overhang. Next a left handed "do or die" lunge to a "thank god" fingertip flake just inches below the bolt. Be ready for a quick clip. Depending how you judge the blind reach over the lip of the overhang is crucial to your stability to clip that bolt. A bit of advice: have quick draw ready in mouth at crux.
