5 out of 5 stars Great views!

A really fun climb. Relatively short approach, fairly easy routefinding and an easy walk off from the summit.

Get a VERY early start because it's an incredibly popular climb. Left the parking lot shortly after 5am but encountered 2 other parties who were right on our tail.

5 out of 5 stars Awesome climb!

Beautiful scenery, reasonable rock, long approach but on a very well graded trail. Left the parking lot at 6am but were surprised to find another party on the Dragons back upon our arrival at the Goat Plateau.

5 out of 5 stars Good introductory climb to Yam.

Second trad lead and first on Yam. Favorite pitch was #3. It was a little run out but the climbing was fairly straightforward. Had lots of rope drag on pitch #2. Should have used my longest runners on those pitons.

BTW, Bow Valley Rock (book) rates this a 5.5 but the Yam book rates this a 5.6. I think the first pitch was closer to 5.6 than a 5.5.

3 out of 5 stars First trad lead

My first multi pitch trad lead. Rock is solid but the crux pitch #3 was well protected with pitons. No belay station at the end of pitch #1.

4 out of 5 stars Interesting climb but watch out for loose rock.

Not a bad climb at all. Similar to the Keelhaul wall but with a very nice corner climb on pitch 4. Not as much fixed protection either... at least for the first half. Just watch out for loose rock. There are some boulders the size of a microwave oven which move when grabbed onto.

4 out of 5 stars Nice climb

My first climb at Kid Goat. Fairly straightforward but the roof on pitch 3 was very interesting.

4 out of 5 stars Not a bad route

Not a bad route. My partner went right by the first belay station (unintentionally) so we did it in 4 pitches. The second pitch (by the book) was the most interesting due to a nice corner. The rappel takes a slightly different route as it goes straight down. The last rappel station is under an overhanging roof so you'll have to trust that it's there.

4 out of 5 stars Good introductory multi pitch climb

My first 3 pitch sport climb. Not too difficult and was able to rappel the entire route using a 60m rope.

4 out of 5 stars Fun Route

Short approach, fairly solid rock, good belay stations. Great views but lots of traffic noise. Missed the 2nd belay station and ended up climbing up to the 3rd station.
