loving backcountry AZ climbing

had a blast taking this one out in one long day. Found ourselves getting off route a couple times and running pitches together, but that just made it out to be more of an adventure. What was especially awesome was summiting at sunset and getting to see the pyramid shadow while praising I'toi for what he had blessed us with.

good trad/sport mix

summited to a beautiful sunset. fun well-established route and the too tough to die finish seemed to be a great choice.

finally got up moby

4th try is a charm. 1st visit a tree was in the road, 2nd couldn't find the route, 3rd got rained out and bailed at the top of 2nd pitch, 4th summited! A lot of people give this route crap for being a classic, but there isn't any reason for anyone to not enjoy moby dick, let alone a beautiful day in the stronghold.
