I really enjoyed this one. Nice secure placement-stances, good protection and a few fun moves.
We did the first pitch walkoff, which would I think be a *little* spicy unroped for beginners.

Took me a while to be sure we were starting the correct route, as a helpful climber on Knapsack shouted that we were in the wrong spot.

Great up, not so great down.
Super amazing climbing all the way. Two interesting but not hard (once figured out) roofs. Variation 5.10a "step left" to finger crack at last pitch very worthwhile---committing but not hard. Otherwise incredibly consistent high-quality easy-ish climbing. No one else on the route on this gorgeous Sunday! Probably because . . .
Epic snowy descent in the dark. Suggestions: wait for melt and for longer daylight; start early; bring good headlamps, rack up at the car so you don't need to leave stuff at the base.
