TR'd it up

I don't know what these kids are talking about, but the bottom of this climb is awesome. They are kinda technical, fun moves, but not hard with really good holds awaiting, and the gear is good if you know how to place tri-cams and cams in horizontals. And then maybe the top was a little too easy, but with that gorgeous view and a little bit of exposure, I'd run up this bad boy any day I happened to be at fern and it was open.

smooth first bolts until i managed to break my hand at 1st crux. i'm 5'5" and was reaching up to undercling w/ left hand. twisted wrong w/ right hand and long reach and heard a pop...it was bizarre and i doubt would happen to anyone...needless to say no onsight... :(

Fun

Nice 5.7 trad lead. good pro and enjoyable. It's also fun to skip the crack on the right and follow the bolts for the first 20 feet or so and then meet up w/ the trad climb. You're not missing out on anything hard at the beginning and get to reduce rope drag and save gear.

First multipitch lead

Lots of fun. Second pitch is super smooth sailing. Great holds, great stances, great pro. Beautiful Scenery. Great adventure crossing rivers and finding it...haha. scramble down back afterwards is fine.

Solid Climb

I TR'd this route clean last summer, and came back and led it. I really enjoy the pretty easy cruxy move right above 2nd bolt, but I suppose you wouldn't want to fall there into the tree as previously mentioned. Last bolts to the shuts is a tad pumpy w/ no bomber clipping holds (but decent ones). I stayed right til I got to the shuts and then traverse left to the better holds to clip into the anchors.
