Guffert Klettern - Fat Bottom GirlsServus Bergfreunde, Guffert (2195m) is a mountain in Tirol, Austria. It belongs to the Rofan mountain range. The town of Steinberg am Rofan is where the hike begins. A 2 hour approach will reward you with a small Alpine wall (100m high) below the summits. The wall is at 1750m (Guffertstein region) and is southfacing, allowing for fun climbing in a beautiful setting. March to December are the best months to climb.11 First ascents took place in 2011/2012. The climbs are well protected Alpine Sport-climbs on abrasive limestone. The majority of the climbs have been bolted on lead. The wall is ideal to help gain the strength, endurance and confidence required to tackle BIG routes in the nearby Karwendel, Wetterstein, Wilderkaiser and Leogang/Lofer regions, just to name a few. For more information see www.rockclimbing.com /Austria/Tirol/Guffertstein Enjoy, Viel spass dabei!
