He has more determination than I have ever seen in a young child. If he cant figure out a problem he will keep trying it for hours.

I added an overhang to our existing rock wall. The wall was 8 feet high before. Now it extends out at a 45 degree angle after 8 feet. It is almost 12 feet high at its max now. It got dark before I could put the holds on the overhang. However, I was able to get this video of the new crawl through that let's the kids still use the slide on the other side.

This is my son competing in his first outdoors bouldering competition(Hound Ears). We camped out all weekend and he really loved climbing the boulders. Thanks to everyone who cheered him on. It really motivates him when people cheer for him.

This is a video of my 6 year old son climbing in the 2010 Peak Experiences Climbing Competition. He finished 4 routes including a 5.9 which is excellent for someone under 4 feet tall.

This is my 6 year old son competing in the Rise Up sport climbing competition. He climbed two routes that were rated 5.9+ and placed 5th in the 10 and under division.

Here is my son trying out the new Backyard Climbing Wall Overhang. The left section is at about 40 degrees and the right is around 50 degrees. The overhang is supported by 4 4x4 posts. The whole set is cemented into the ground with 4x4 posts.
