Good pair 5 out of 5 stars

Very good lines for the price. Slightly heavy in comparison with my old double lines but also much more durable. Using lines on rock, ice and alpine. Would gladly replace with same lines when time comes.

Could not decide between these and the skinnier Phoenix, but went with the Genesis because they are more durable. Glad I did. I love them! Can't beat the feel of a Mammut rope. Ties well. runs smooth, light, yet still feels like a real rope. I just can't get comfortable with an 8mm. Plus, I can use these for trad when they aren't so dry anymore.

Excellent half ropes. Lightweight, durable, and they handle well. My first half rope set and I'm more than satisfied.

I am now on my second set of Genesis ropes and will happily replace them with the same eventually. They handle great and give a nice catch (not that I've tested them too much). I ended up using my first pair for more years than you're supposed to but they still held up well.
The dry coating has performed well too when conditions have been a little wet whilst ice climbing.
