Description

Dont let a heavy rack hold you back. Weight matters on multipitch climbs, so lighten up with the Metolius Ultralight Curve Nuts . By attaching the cable directly to the nuts, Metolius eliminated the swage, making the nuts lighter than comparable pieces. Based on a traditional angle-taper design, the Ultralight Curve Nut utilizes horizontal curves across two faces. Horizontal curves provide the pieces with multiple placement options and makes them naturally more stable in flaring cracks. Curves assure three points of contact with the rock, making the nuts more stable and versatile than older, straight-sided nut designs. Anodized heads are color-coded to match Metolius camming devices for easy identification and familiar size selection.

Got a set last year.. 4 out of 5 stars

I'd always used wild country wires as my first set and recently zero-G's (about half the price as WC's and more than adequate) as a second, but when I came to retire a handful of each last year, I went to my local wall (big shop) and was encouraged to get these instead on the grounds that they were far and away the easiest to place.
They were (at the time) £20 more expensive than a set of wild countrys.
They were also absolubtly worth every penny!
The ease of both placement and clearing in comparison to the WC rocks was clear enough on the first climb I used them on. Brilliant and hold a fall like a champ! They also practically feather-weight!
They're now always my 'go to first'

Werks fer me 5 out of 5 stars

I've got the old version of these guys which work great. I've used these and the BD ones and some DMM walnutz, and I like these the best. They seem to place really well in shallow seams and extract easily while being very stable when you want them to be. A+
