Description

Anodized heads on the DMM Wallnuts help you pick the right size to fit the crack when youre way run out and desperate for a piece of pro. In addition to their excellent color coding, Wallnuts have concave grooves in their curved heads to allow them to fit securely in little crannies where other nuts cant go. The next time Elvis leg is shaking out your teeth and a quickly placed piece of gear is a necessity for the send, reach for a DMM Wallnut.

I only own a couple sets of these walnuts and a set of metolius curved hexes as my passives. virtually never place a cam anymore. walnuts fit practically anywhere except even/flaring desert cracks. I've borrowed metolius stoppers and some BD as well but i think the walnuts are superior in design as far as shape goes. the indention really provides a unique ability to lock into cracks via crystals and irregularities that others just teeter around on. If you climb trad, buy a set immediately.

I love my wallnuts. I have a few of them to complement my Wild Country rocks. In a choice between the two I always reach for my Wallnuts. They seat very well when you give them a tug. I have used them on aid and have had placements hold where the nut is 1/3 sticking out of the rock but they still hold because of the scoop in a little constriction. They seem to slip so nicely into less than ideal placements. I like the smaller sizes the best (up to 6). Size 1 I don't think they really make a difference either as the scoop is so small. The anodizing is nice and stands out more than the Black Diamond nuts. When scratched up you can tell the difference more easily. The anodizing matches the Wild Country lineup as well which is really convenient. The cams, hexes and nuts all are anodized the same color for the same size. They are nicely tapered, aethetically pleasing, moderately priced and light. I would definitely recommend them. I will buy more.

I thought all nuts were the same until I got a few of these. They go in on everyclimb, and sit better then my stoppers. I use sizes 7-11.

I really like these nuts. Like others, I got a set to complement my BD Stoppers, and these seem to place easier and more solidly. Gave me a more secure feeling to climb above a Wallnut placement.

Good stuff, especially in the smaller sizes (up through 6 or 7). May be harder to clean at times, but also work nicely sometimes when Stoppers and Rocks don't.
