We love the Patagonia Huckleberry, and its not just because of the eco-friendly design or the exceptionally comfortable Poli-Cork footbed. The Womens Huckleberry Shoe gives outdoor enthusiasts pure bouldering functionality with specific edging and smearing zones along the Vibram sole. While a lot of manufacturers offer approach shoes or climbing shoes, its tough to find bouldering-specific footwear that you can wear from the parking lot to the top of the scramble and back. Patagonias Huckleberry gets all the features right with a rugged Perwanger leather upper, reinforced climbing toe and external counters for edge hold. Like other Patagonia footwear, the Huckleberry also has plenty of earth-friendly components like midsoles made with 15 recycled EVA material and recycled Poliyou foam in the footbeds. The Vibram bouldering sole even has a special Ecostep compound made with up to 30 recycled rubber.
