Meyer-Womble Observatory
The Meyer-Womble Observatory is the highest of observatory in North America at 14,148 ft at the end of the highest paved road in North America providing access to Denver University's Astronomy program.
The Meyer-Womble was the highest in the world until they built the Indian Astronomical Observatory in Hanle, India in the Himalayas which sits at 14,800 ft.
