I climbed Mt. Rainier via the Ingraham Direct route while hiking parts of the Pacific Crest Trail in the summer of 2000. I know, I know, the ladder is poor climbing style (I was considering posting this to the aid section), but we did hike all the way from Canada to get there.

Cone Mountain taken in Late December 2001. Looks like there might be some good routes up there, check out bivouac.com for info on possible routes. Cone Mountain is also the start/end of a nice looking ridge traverse.

We stopped for lunch here on our way out from the Bryant Creek Shelter in early January 2002. This picture is not actually in Mt. Assiniboine Provincial Park, but it is on one of the most popular hiking approaches into the park.

One beautiful senset (in the other pics) yielded this picture, thankfully the camera still worked after falling like homer did down springfield canyon (funnily we'd just talked about that before it happened)

This pic is of the Sitkum Spire on the Sitkum Glacier Route up Glacier Peak, Washington. I took this picture in July 2000 while I was hiking parts of the Pacific Crest Trail. The morning started off socked in with clouds, but at around 7000 ft, clear sk

This was a warm spring day and we couldn't resist a photo opportunity. Picture was taken downtown Toronto... note how the other pedestrians are just continuing to walk by as if there isn't someone hanging above their head.

This is the Delicate Arch in Arches National Park-probably the most famous Arch in the park and one of the more unique rock formations anywhere. The hike to it is highly recommended on rest days in Moab, but it is illegal to climb.

I show up at Joshua Tree at the end of March, and it snows. I didn't get any climbing in, but I did some exploring and took a few unique pictures.

One of the most recognizable symbols of the Shawangunks is the Tower at Skytop. Regrettably climbers can not access Skytop at this time because of private ownership of the land by the Mohonk Mountain House. I took this shot after a day of climbing some classics and going for a dip in the lake.

On the hike down, the trail crossed a creek and I found this very interesting Ice formation. I'm not very happy with the scan quality, the real picture looks much better!

How about that for a sunset??? This picture was taken from the roadside at Camp 4. I'm definitely not the only one with a picture like this because at the time it seemed like the whole of camp 4 was on the road snapping away ;-)
