Rapping off South Seas

How steep are the 1st few pitches on South Seas? STEEP! I took this shot from the back of the Alcove near where South Seas begins. Those ropes hang over 100 feet away from where I am. Looks like a spider dangling from a thread over El Cap meadow doesn't it? Check out my other South Seas photos too.
