A tough traverse on small holds with bad feet. This V4 is always in the shade, so this is a good place to hang out on a hot day.

An excellent V2 problem on fantastic slanting holds. Body position is key. This is a great area for the moderate boulderer-most of the good problems are V5 or under.

Peter Gram pulling hard on the underclings on Muscle Corner. This is an excellent V5, pumpy and technical. The traverse can be reversed, which is harder-or done as a round trip which is much harder.

A very young atg200 sending the Double Dyno problem V4 in the Rock Maze, SD. This problem is easier but not as fun to do static.

Andrew Gram on the Central Yellow Wall V4 on the Campground Boulder, Black Hills SD. An excellent John Gill problem with both powerful moves on big holds and delicate moves on small crystals. Totally classic.

On an early morning exploratory mission, I discovered yet another perfect handcrack that I just had to climb. Luckily there was a nice place to set up my camera for a shot.

This warm-up problem is quite forgiving if you happen to slip in the right direction. Here's Pyp with no intention of slipping

Esta foto fué tomada unos dos movimientos antes del crux del problema y un movimiento después del inicio. En la foto pueden ver el tatuaje de "free willy" de Giancola en el pecho.... feo?
