Rignys Bjerg Arctic Eastern Greenland

In 1998 we were lucky enough to visit an unexplored area of Arctic Eastern Greenland called Rignys Bjerg. This was our third camp after three days of storm during which we resorted to reading the GPS manual. The cliffs in the background are a good three hours skiing away. We found it very difficult to estimate scale in Greenland leading to some long days skiing.
