Snow Falcon - Arctic Eastern Greenland

Back in 1998 we were lucky enough to be the first visitors to this part of Greenland (Rignys Bjerg). Just behing our first camp we noticed a superb snow gully. Like most things in Greenland we underestimated the size and ended up with a 10 pitch Grade 3 (Scottish). As we climbed we were watched by 2 Snow Falcons, hence the name.
