Racing the Weather

Wendy (punkin) and I got an early start and made it to Crimson Chrysalis, which ascends the right-most edge of the mountain, first. Two other parties started up after us, but both bailed due to biting wind and impending rain. We summitted under a darkening sky amid high winds, and then raced the weather down the route and all the way back to the car. That was Day 1 of our Vegas trip. Photo by punkin.
