Late summer season, a number of lines of varying lengths were set up at the top of the rostrum. Kids camped out and worked on psyching themselves up for this terrifying, humbling version of a slackline.

This is a pic of me slacklining up on campus one day. It made it into the paper, but the reporter kindo made up the quote. I just said it was a hobby to pass the time....

This is me at Derrik's on Little Corn Island, Nicaragua. The coconut trees and grass landings make this the ideal spot for a little slacklining.

This photo shows the 9 to 1 tightning system .. it is prety simple to set up, and you can tighten it on your own.

I was so proud of myself, I had just mastered the sitstart on the slackline and I just had to ask to get a picture of it.

My friend took this shot of me while i was slackline back in my home town of San Clemente, CA. The line is about 100 feet long. One of the funnest walks in the world too. At the time, it was the longest line i had ever walked.

This picture was taken by a friend with a crappy scanner, but hey its me on the line.

Damn hippies, they're everywhere. One of the caretakers of the Refugio gets in a little balance work before breakfast, Aguja Frey in the background. Yes, that's granite, and yes, it is some damn fine climbing.
