i climbed this line at a concord NH quarry almost 10 years ago...i went back and repeated it yesterday...this is a shot of my boy jakob on the same rt, just before he broke a hold and took a 25 ft fall down in to the deep water...

About 15ft. up or so, on a big blocky jug-haul on N. Baldwin cove's boulder. Pace Bend Park, Spicewood, TX.

Tom about to top out on his notorious route Backslapper, the route which he named shortly after he had one from the 10m mark! Heh heh.

Not a bad way to finish off the year, Tom about to tackle the crux during our trip to Backslapper Wall in the holidays just after Christmas.

This was my son Jason's (11 yrs old) time DWSing. Here he is at the top of Backslapper 10m (30ft) above the water and cool as a cucumber.

This route had no name. We rented a pontoon boat and stopped at random walls climbing everything in sight. IF someone wants to name it, call it "Your Moma." It is just a cool picture for anyone who would like to know about deep water soloing. Climber is Justin Sylvester, and photographer is Mike Wallace a.k.a. Mike Wall-ACE.

The crappies rigging of my life....not the rigging itself, but rigging it, well actually getting to where I needed to be to rig it. There was no way around it, 15 feet of thick, nasty green briar, and it really hurt, considering I was wearing swim shorts and no shirt! DOH!
