Sunburnt Buttress (grade 19) is a 182m semi-sport route on the north-east edge of Mt Tibrogargan in the Glasshouse Mtns. Six pitches in length and all bolted belays. The rock is fairly chossy in the middle pitches.

This is a typical Saturday on The Expressway.Notice there are parties on every pitch. You can also see some of the other climbs on Gomer Wall.

One of my first climbs. There might not be any mountains in this country, but at least there is some rock that pretend to be mountains. Anyway, it beats indoor climbing in winter!

This photo taken by my wife. In Joshua Tree National Park, there are several people with tri-pods and cameras set up facing West to catch the beautiful sunsets here.

Este es el topo del lado SUR de la pared OESTE. El lado NORTE de esta pared no necesita topo (solo hay un problema: Mantel) y las respevivas ubicaciones de La Bola y El Bostezo son obvias en las descripciones de estas rutas.

These lines show the way I went up and came down Mt Bogart. There isn't any set trail so if you find an easy way up your're lucky.

This is the view of mount bogart once you get to the top of the dried creek. The size may not look impressive, but that peak is still a hard 3 hours away.

This is Castleton Tower near Moab from the approach road. This tower has several classic moderate free routes, and the Kor-Ingalls is even one of the 50 Classic Climbs of North America. This is the first tower for most aspiring desert rats.

This is the Picture Window flake at Rushmore. You can't tell from the picture, but it is only about 6 inches thick at the top. Gossamer climbs the right side, and Broken Window climbs the face left of the window.

Middle Marker is one of the largest rock formations at Rushmore. Several classic trad routes and a very nice 2 pitch 5.10 sport route. It is in full view of the road so you'll stop some traffic.

Shipyard Rock is one of the two largest rocks at Rushmore, and most routes are 2 pitches. Waves is an area classic for the 5.8 sport climber.

Childs Molar is one of the larger rocks at Rushmore, but doesn't see much traffic. Lead Fillings is an excellent 9 sport route, and the bombay chimney is possibly the worst trad route at Rushmore.
