45 degree overhung handcrack

Phil Box on bomber hard granite 45 degree overhung handcrack. Grade 24 climb which I started out strong on the handcrack section but flailed miserably at the lip where the crack closed up and then proceeded to dog my way up to about halfway before bailing. The sea cliffs seem to be a little slimey but that is more a factor of the salt buildup drawing moisture away from your hands. Pic by Katherine Dicker.
