Rock Climbing Photos : Trad : Very Bright, White Granite

Very Bright, White Granite

Very Bright, White Granite

This is me (Adrian), making the crux move on the 5.9 second pitch of Apron Strings (5.10b). After this mantle onto the ledge, it's clear sailing up a beautiful 5.6 zig-zag crack which leads to the long runout dykes below the steep headwall. It's difficult to see my protection in all that dazzling white light, but you can still see my partner Wolfang enjoying the shade of that tree below me (orange shirt).
