About Ritan Park:

Ritan is definitely the best choice to meet climbers in Beijing. The Beijing climbing community meets here and you get the best infos about cheap gear, climbing partners and real rock around Beijing. In summer they organize cheap trips to Baihe or Shidu. The climbing wall is outdoor and man-made. There are 2 overhangs on the right and left side and easy stuff in the middle (see pictures). A new Bouldering wall has just been built. Open from the end of February to the mid of November. Prices: Non-members 40 Yuan / day, Members 25 Yuan / day. Becoming a member is worth it as it's only 50 Yuan and you save alot on gear and entrance fees. |
