Upper Wall Left
About Upper Wall Left:
This section has the longest approach of any of the Nicholson walls. It has about 15 routes, almost all in the 5.10 - 5.11 range, with lengths from 30' to 100'. |
Approach: | From the Shoot Gully, follow the series of handlines up and right. The trail will eventually curve back left, taking you to a junction by a set of anchors. Alternately, you can climb the Shoot Gully (5.8, loose and dirty). Neither approach is pleasant, so pick your poison. From the anchors, move down and left, then follow some metal rails and more handlines. |
Approach Time: | maybe 30 minutes from the base of Shoot Gully |
