About Khersan:

"Khersan" is a name for a twin summit, in Takht-e-Solaiman mountains which rises in north of IRAN. the northern summit has 4710 and the southern one has 4695 m height. "Kersan"s are attached to "Alam kuh" at north direction. There are two glaciers on east and west sides of summits: Hesarchal glacier on east and Haftkhan glacier on west. the easiest rout to climb is the saddle between Alam kuh and northern Khersan in which there is a little shelter. remaining part of the rout is hard and continues on a rock ridge with non-stable rocks. May until October is suitable season. other time is very cold with heavy rains and snows and high dangers of avalanches.
Nearest town or city: Karaj
Directions: First: travel to Tehran, Iran , then go to Karadj and Kelardasht by Chalus road. Second:go to "Rudbarak" village and then go to Hesarchal valley by car. Third: climb to Hesarchal glacier on north-west direction. Fourth: you can climb directly on rocky slopes of "Khersan"s or climb the south face of Alam kuh and then go to norhtern and southern summits respectively.
