About Alam Kouh:

It is exactly like tiger wall in Alps. Alam kuh’s common areas are well known and its alias name is Iran’s Switzerland, including Kelar Dasht & Sarab Rood. It is rich in wildlife. Alam Kuh is the secound highest peak in Iran and probably the one, which highest peak in Iran and probably the one which Challenges climbers the most. Its North face is one of the more impressive in the world, outside the Andes and the greater Himalayan Mountains. It has about 800 meters of vertical granite+ice, which is suitable for cliff hanging & its Glacier is near to Alam Kuh’s north wall is about 4000 meters. The second highest summit in this region and just as famous is Takht-e-Soleyman, 4650 meters. It is not as difficult to climb as Alam Kuh. Alam Kuh range is famous for its wall & 50 peaks about 4000 m.
Nearest town or city: Kelardasht
Directions: You have to drive to Kelardasht and from there to Alam Kouh. Ofcourse Taxi And bus is available from Tehran to Kelardasht.
