About bicchu-chou Area:

Limestone freeks(climbers) you name it, all kinds of angled face walls or Limestone's holds are there for you. Mostly routes are single pitch (about 10~25 meter) 60~70% routes are 5.12s so NO Wimps allowed(just kidding!) Season-Autumn~June Summer is too hot for climbing but you can find shady walls most of the day. There is a Climber's Log house with bathroom for staying overnight(don't forget a sleeping bag). There's a small fee to stay there over night. WARNING!! Grading they use is YDS(USA), but the 2/3 Grades are harder than what they say! i.e. 5.12a = 5.12b/c 5.11c\d =5.12a or more harder?!
