About Khatlon:

Qurghonteppa (Kor-ghan-tep-uh) is the capital of the Khatlon Province. There is a lot of flooding here and the rock is exposed annually. While I am sure there is great climbing here, it is very seasonal and probably quite dangerous due to erosion.
