About Reunion Buttress:

Just to the left of the upper-cave entrance to the Anxiety State Crisis Cave. The buttress is made up of different styles of limestone. Closer to the cave entrance the limestone is smooth, orange and lends itself to big holds. A little further down the wall the rock turns color to a dark gray and is a sharper though still excellent quality and a little crimpier in style. The exception to the above is one route in the middle of the wall which can only be fairly described a tufa choss. Sun levels vary throughout the year. Tends to be shadier in the cool season all day. In the hot season goes into shade in the late afternoon
Approach: From the car park follow the trail towards the main buttress. At the first belay shelter take the left path towards Aircon wall. Follow the path up from Aircon wall past the bamboo covered cave entrance. Reunion Buttress looms over the path ahead.
