About Thompsons Point:
| Thompsons Point is the most popular climbing area at Nowra, marred only by the rash of break-ins that have occured in the parking area. The cliff boasts 200 climbs from grade 17 to 32. This is one of least urban of the cliffs, tucked away on the 'nice' side of the river -away from the surburban sprawl of Nowra town. Apart from the constant water ski boats trawling back and forth this place is almost tranquil. Caves, walls and amazing aretes feature on this compact but very nice area. |
