Description:
From the tick gates and border crossing follow the rabbit proof fence towards the east. Keep the fence on your left. There is a good track to follow which can be traversed by vehicles for maintainence of the rabbit fence. fence will trend upwards and you have to keep following the fence up until it takes a sharp turn to the south and downhill. This is your key to jump the fence and start up the obvious track. This track will pretty much drive straight up this ridge until you hit the cliff. The way up the cliff is very obvious and can be scrambled up by the fit and agile. There are certainly moments when you`ll be actually rock climbing but for the most part it`ll be a very steep scramble. One chasm is bridged by a live tree which you use to walk across, fun. Not the chipped holds, more like gouged out holds with a jackhammer. Oh yes, you will be climbing roughly on the south to south east flanks of the mountain.
