Flight Wall
About Flight Wall:
Offering grandstand viewing for spectators in the pines below, this prominent wall is a must for any sportclimbing-hardman-wannabe. Just like climbing ina gym, there's defined hand and folt holds everywhere, although none so big that you could have a party on it. There's a number of variations on routes in this section, but the standout is the corner crack Orestes (trad, 24) and the easiest route up the main face Have A Good Flight (sport, 25). The wall leans about 10 degrees so falls are clean, and the holds aren't so sharp that you only get one shot (Jetlag excluded). Let the crowds amass ! |
