Beginners Wall
About Beginners Wall:
Small (approx 10m high), low angled wall. Good for beginners. There are lots of bolts at the top so its very easy to set up anchors and setup topropes. A great little area for first-time leaders. If you're looking for harder climbs though, this is not the place. This area is not covered by West Australian ROCK, but it is in the Margaret River ROCK guidebook.
To get there, from the top of the Steel Wall head northwards on the Cape to Cape track and follow it down the gully to the bottom. Then turn left and walk along the rocks past a few compact orange buttresses to a very short buttress. |
