About Banks Peninsula:
Banks Peninuslia juts into the Pacific on the East Coast of the South Island. It's close proximity to Christchurch makes it an ideal alternative to the Port Hills for climbing and MTB. In this db the more estabilished crags will be listed but there are hundreds of crags dotted around the peninuslia and great scope for devlopment. Unlike the Port Hills crags, most of which are on public land, access in most cases must be obtanied before climbing |
