About Evans Pass:

Recently opened crag over looking the Lyttleton Port Quarry offering longer lines than alot of Port Hill climbs. Most grade around 18-20 though there are some 16'S. Little natural pro though there are alot of well spaced bolts and some absiel stations
Approach: Park at Evans Pass or at the cattle stop on the Summit Road. Follow the track up hill for about 100 meters and the crag is then very obvious. Access to the top or bottom is easy. Do not approach from the Quarry as it is private land.

Access Issues: Climbing is permitted courtesy of The Lyttelton Port Company so do not abuse it. The crag faces the south and gets next to no sun during the day. Not a winter crag
