Whekenui
About Whekenui:
The cliff on the right side of the Bay while facing Lake Taupo. Popular trad lines, as well as some bolted lines. When approaching the crag, please be respectful of the homes on the waterfront. Walk close to the water, not in their yards, and keep voices down. PLEASE DON'T TOUCH THE BONES IN THE TIBIA CHIMNEY. (We'd love to keep our access to this wonderful spot!) |
