About Helenental E. - Siegenfelder Platte:
| Little beginners paradise ! about 15 routes from 15 to 20 meters high on a very nice slab. The routes are from 3 to 5b with a perfectly glued bolt every meter (sometimes closer) so bring 15 to 20 quickdraws :-)). In front of the wall is a picknick area, the wall is south facing, etc. So if you want your kids/boy- or girlfriend to start climbing with you (or start climbing on the more ore less sharp end) this is the place to go. Well you should avoid the weekends if you don't like crowds. It is astonishing that the rock is still very good quality. |

| Directions: | Coming from the A2 leave at Baden and follow the little green signs to the Helenental. At the first crossing in the Helenetal turn right to Siegenfeld. After about 500 meter there is a green gate at the right. Next to the gate there is limited parking space so try to keep the entrance clear for forest vehicles ! Follow the forest road behind the gate and after about 150 meters to the right follow the path up right (for some meters) to the right. |
