About Combe Ghyll(OS):

This is the valley between Stonethwaite and Seathwaite running south. The left side of the valley has some excellent climbing. West-facing, in the grades of Diff to V Diff, 100 to 200 feet tall.
Nearest town or city: Rossthwaite
Directions: OS 89 & 90 -- GR NY 250 120 Alt. 550m 2 miles SSW of Rossthwaite. Take the B5289 for one mile, where a path leads off left and up the valley. The Glaciated Slab is immediately up on the left. Another mile brings you to the rest of the crags on the left.
