About Scafell Crag (OS):

One of the best crags in the lakes. High, steep and north facing with routes up to 250 feet long. There are at least 80 routes on the main face and the outlying crags to either side. There is little below severe on the main face, but fron VS and E1 up there are some classic climbs. Worth the trip only if the weather is good though. The cliff to the right of the main face is known as Shamrock, and farther right is Black Crag.
