About Swirl Crags (OS):

Some great small crags in a very fine position. 25 routes, Severe to E4, spread evenly across the grades. The climbs are short for the Lake, only 60 feet, but are very fun. West facing on very good rock, simply heaven, worth an evening jaunt. |

| Directions: | OS 90 GR NY 324 156 Alt. 465m 6 miles SSE of Keswick. Take the A591 south for about 6 miles to a car park at the start of a forest. Take a footpath up the left side of the forest, then along the top to reach the crags in about 20 minutes. |
