One of the great bouldering areas in the country! Over 150 routes in all grades up to E5 on very good, compact sandstone. Height varies from 10 to 50 feet, so a top rope is very useful on the longer routes. BEWARE OF CAR THIEVES, THIS AREA IS NOT KNOWN FOR ITS HONESTY! Always worth a visit. |

| Directions: | OS 108 GR SJ 501 887 Alt. 50m 6 miles from the outskirts of Liverpool. Exit the M62 at Junction 7, head south on the A569 and then right on the A5080 after three/fourths of a mile. After a quarter mile take the turn on the right with some green posts, leading to the quarry in about 500 feet. |
