About Bowden Doors (OS):

An open and exposed crag that dries out instantly. Southwest facing and very good rock, with over 100 routes in all grades from Diff to E7. One of the best crags in the area, 30 to 50 feet high.

| Directions: | OS75--GR NU 070 326 4 miles ENE of Wooler. Turn off the B6348 on to the B6349 and continue for 4 miles where the crag can be seen off to the left. PLEASE BE CAREFUL OF THE FENCES AND WALLS! To reach Back Bowden Doors continue for another 200 yards, turn left and after one mile a path leads down the edge of a forest to the crag.
