A quarry that recieves mixed opinions, but with a toprope, plenty of good climbing can be found here. Please use a long sling at the top to prevent undue wear. Sandstone up to 60 feet high with about 50 routes. Worth the trip if you are stuck in Newcastle. |

| Directions: | OS 88 GR NZ 204 560 Alt. 118m 5 miles south of Newcastle. Take the A6076 north from the roundabout at Stanley for two miles to Causey. Turn right down a track here and a path leads to the quarry. |
